We just released Genius Scan 2.0.1 which addresses a few bugs in Genius Scan.

The main issue was a crash at launch when migrating the documents to the new format. Genius Scan can handle very large collections of documents. However, the document migration failed because of low memory. Although no data was lost, it prevented from upgrading to Genius Scan 2.0.1.
